Two Loops
Inside the body, it have three kinds of blood vessels.
Arteries- Carries blood away from the heart.
Capillaries- Tiny, narrow blood vessels where blood and body cells exchange their substances.
Veins- Carries back blood to the heart.
First loop- Blood go to the lungs from the heart and travels back to the heart.
Second loop- Heart pumps blood through the body and come back to the heart.
First loop- From right side of the heart.
Second loop- From the left side of the heart.
Blood travels only one direction. Which the entire trip of the blood takes less than minute.
Loop 1- It start off with right chamber. The blood that goes to lung have few oxygen but a lot of carbon dioxide. It goes through arteries. They exchange the material in blood vessels called capillaries. The blood gives carbon dioxide to lung, and lung give oxygen to cells. Eventually, comes back to heart by vein.
Loop 2- It starts at left chamber, and blood contains a lot of oxygen. It goes to aorta, the biggest arteries, after arteries and exchange materials with cells. Blood gives oxygen to cells and cells give waste product to blood. Then come back to heart by vein.
